a quote for today:

"You know, sometimes it is the artist's task to find out how much music you can still make with what you have left." -- Itzhak Perlman.

if you're intersted in reading the story behind this quote, go here.

i'm thinking a lot lately about how much i can do with what i have left -- the person i am and the capabilities i have with these migraines. how does this quote apply to you?

The other truth is that sometimes the part of the music that you think is the best is the first part you need to cut from the composition.

This is a nice post! Something to get us thinking...

I think we are constantly evolving, although we tend to put ourselves in sterotypes not thinking that we change & are capable of change.

People adapt to their circumstances/limits no matter what they are, and i think we need to be aware that limits are....limitless?

Hope i made sense.

have a good day!

great story! It does help to think 'what can I do' instead of concentrating on the limits /barriers. I admire you for seeking out positive and encouraging examples.
